Welcome to the Hurricane 501 (Hurricane Restoration Ltd.) Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Product Description – We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time you place your order.
Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions and prices appearing on this website may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. Prices are in Pounds (£) Sterling, and include tax if applicable. Our VAT registration number is available on request.

Registration – You will be required to register personal information if you wish to place on order on the online shop. You agree that the information you have provided is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Credit/debit card authorisation involves a check by your card provider to ensure the details you have used to register with us matches the secure details held by the card provider.

Collection of personal information – We will only collect personal information from you (such as name, address, telephone number, email address etc) which you have provided voluntarily to us either by completing registration or enquiry forms or sending emails to us. Please do not submit your personal data to us if you do not wish us to collect it.

– when you join as a member we collect personal information about you to allow the processing of you as a member of the ‘V7497 Club’

– if you enter a contest or promotion we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This is so we can run the contest effectively and tell you if you have won.
– if you order a product or service from us we may ask for information including your name, e-mail address, delivery and billing address etc. These details allow us to process your orders efficiently.

Use of your information – We may obtain, hold, correlate, merge and use your information (including personal information) for the purpose of providing you with our services and ancillary services and for our internal business purposes. These include (without limitation):

However we use our reasonable endeavours to protect the security of your personal information from unauthorised access. We do not charge an administration fee in relation to fulfilling a request for access to personal information. All requests for copies of personal information will be sent by post to the address we have for you at home on file. Requests will be processed within 28 working days of their receipt.

Being a member of the V7497 Club makes you an ‘ambassador’ for the Hurricane 501 project and we respectfully ask that you in turn respect the integrity of the project and it’s Club and avoid bring it and the club members into disrepute in any way therefore upholding the honour of the men and women this project represents who sacrificed their lifes and way of life in the days of war.

V7497 Club Membership benefits – Year Membership (Individual) – You will receive a Membership Pack including a Membership Card, Sticker, Pin Badge, Note Book and Pencil + Newsletter + invitation to selected events TBC. Life Membership (Individual) – You will receive a Membership Pack including a Membership Card, Sticker, Pin Badge, Note Book and Pencil + Newsletter + invitation to selected events including private viewing of engine runs and selected flights and opportunities to meet the V7497 team and events e.g. ‘Sit in the Cockpit’. (Please note that the items you receive as a V7497 Club member may be subject to change or be changed for an item of equal or more value.)

Cancellation of V7497 Club membership – Cancellations notified during the calendar year of membership must be made in writing a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to automated renewal. Termination of membership will be on the last day of the calendar year from date of joining. Cancellations should be made in writing to info@hurricane501.co.uk

We have a number of sponsorship packages available ranging from an investment that provides a {3f38d8406903aac6c05356e0d4db66ddc5368268a5c161360ae4ce9657a094da} equity part-ownership through to cash amounts that enable the 501 Hurricane team to maintain and keep V7497 airworthy along with new initiatives such as production and distribution of education packs for students and teachers so as to keep this historic piece of British history and the story of how ‘The Few’ repelled the Luftwaffe attacks during 1940 and averted the imminent invasion from occupied Europe in the awareness of current and future generations. Hurricane Restoration Ltd. – Donations – Hurricane Restoration Ltd. and the Hurricane 501 project is a Company and not a Charity. All revenues generated (profits after business administration and business costs) through merchandise and air show appearances etc. and donations made contribute in part or in full to the upkeep, maintenance and flying costs associated with restoring and keeping an airworthy world war two fighter aircraft – a veteran of the Battle of Britain – in flying condition.

Governing Law – These terms and conditions are governed by English law, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions or the contract between us.

Amendments – We reserve the right to alter amend add to or remove all or any part of this Policy Statement at any time without notice and any changes to this Policy Statement or any other terms shown on our website apply with immediate effect of being published. By continuing to use this website after any changes are displayed you indicate your acceptance of those changes.
